Elastos has over 12 years of extensive experience in internal auditing, IT auditing and cybersecurity. His exposure spans across central government, local authorities, and the financial services sector. He has also served over the years as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a number of global professional associations which include the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC²) and the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA). He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) (Hons) with Great Zimbabwe University (GZU) and an MBA (Leadership and Management) with the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) and well as the CIA, CISA, CISSP and CCSP professional designations. Elastos is also a Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor.
