Ms Gracious Kavanji is one of the first loan applicants to access loans in Karoi branch through the reference of the Ministry of Women Affairs office. Mrs Agness Firi is a diverse poultry and horticulture farmer She has however just retired her 1st loan. She stated that she is producing over 2 crates of eggs daily . She is mostly supplying local schools and Magunje business centre and Chidamoyo Mission Hospital. She also keeps road runner chickens which is also getting good market from Mudzimu business centre takeaway dealers. She stated that Womens bank funding has helped her to grow her business from layers only to broiler business and roadrunners as well.
MurimiWanhasi Cooperative with 65 Farmers
Murimi Wanhasi group consists of various women and men who are farmers for small grains , maize, tobacco and in Zebra Downs and Dis one farms in Karoi. The bank has partnered them in financing their farming business through unveiling of small grains crop in partnership with Silo Foods International.

Mrs Monica Mashumba is proving that supporting a woman will help lessen the challenges that rural families face. She keeps broiler and road runner chicken of 100 and 75 batches respectively which are sold in the local markets incliding clinics and schools. She stated that the loan from ZWMB helped her restocking her business
Getrude Makota( Green Light group)
Mrs Getrude Makota is a diverse farmer and leading the Sorghum value chain group with 11 women farmers who have previously accessed Caster Beans and now they decided to venture into small grains with the desire to grow crops that may help them get extra income. She grows sorghum, cotton, tobacco, maize, sweet potatoes and cow peas.
